June 3, 1966...proud to be a part of the 1st graduating class of Oak Park High School.  Shortly after graduation I got a job in NKC and on January 25, 1967, I joined the United States Air Force and headed down to Lackland AFB, Texas, for basic training and retired from the Air Force 20 years later on February 1, 1987.  I have literally have been around the World during my Air Force career.  My career field while in the Air Force was a Parachute Rigger.  I inspected, repaired and repacked all types of parachutes.  I am a proud Air Force Veteran and I will ALWAYS STAND and SALUTE for our National Anthem!!

I met my first and only wife while I was stationed in Plattsburgh AFB, New York, and was married on June 12, 1971.

I am now fully retired and spend time in my wood hobby shop downstairs making small toys and odds and ends.

During my senior year at OPHS, I was in the Orchestra and a member of the Key Club.  My favorite teacher was Mr. Hagan in geography class.

I would love to get in contact with anyone from 1966, so please send me an email.

Hi everyone that made it to the reunion and a Hi, and to all that could not attend; so sorry you could not make it!!  I had a wonderfull time and was happy to see smiles and meet husbands and wives of many!!  The gathering the night before was great also.

TONI CASE, another thank you to all of your hard work completing what you and dear Steve Sheffield began,  looking for all of us from NKCOP class of the great year of 1966!!!

I hear that the next retunion would be in five (5) years.  Is it possible that the next could be sooner, since we all are over a hill that I still do not want to acknowledge?  Just wondering!

I attended Central Misssouri State, Avila College, Graduated from the Kansas City Missouri Police Academy,
Worked as a Collector for three companies (one as the Credit Manager), worked as a Criminal Investigator for Clay County Prosecutor's Office,  (first female hired in Clay County to work on the streets)  Dectective for the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Security Officer for Crown Center Security and after retirement I worked part time as clerk at a  Conoco Station.  I believe I enjoyed this job more than anything, mainly because folks were just buying gasoline and whatever else they needed.   Actually a few former classmates would come buy gasoline. etc.  which was a real joy to me because I had not seen them since 1966!  I just take on step at a time, accept folks for what they are, don't make judgments, smile and am grateful for what I have been given!

Hello old friends.....it has been many years since we have all been together as a class. I started school at the old Englewood, Davidson, Meadowbrook, Chapel Hill (8th grade school that year), Antioch Jr. High, North Kansas City High, then graduated Oak Park. All of this was accomplished without ever moving.
Life has led me on many journeys, some good, some not....but the good news is that I am still here, enjoying my health. I have been married and divorced....two times.....and have been married to my Iranian husband for almost 21 years. We have lived in Tehran and I have seen parts of the world I never knew existed. It has been exciting and eye opening.
We have lived in the Northland for the past 15 years and enjoy our sweet grand daughter. Last year I had the honor to walk with the 50th graduating class of Oak Park, this event was organized by Toni Case ( who by the way still looks just the same). It was such a fun evening and I look forward to seeing many of you at the 50th reunion. My only question is, " How on earth did the time pass so quickly?"
